A difficult wine. Plum, clove, vanilla on the nose. Delicate and pleasant. All well. On the palate however the challenge begins with powerful saline elements, making it a very savoury wine, with diminished fruit. Tannins still edgy on the back end. Could do with 2 more years of bottle aging. The wine opens up with time and becomes much more palatable with a hearty meal.

Fruity, almost felt like squashing berries, really well balanced, powerful, with a decent long finish.
