Massive, rich nose with notes of juicy dark fruit, mocha and cedar with touches of earth, soft leather, raisins and forest floor. The palate is rich, full and juicy shockingly light and balanced given the 16.5% alcohol. Dark flavors of black plum, blackberry and raisins lead to soft, smooth tannins and notes of oak, earth, young leather, spice and tobacco. The finish is long and glorious with touches of gripping acidity, dark fruits and just a finishing touch of spice on the back end. Such a fantastic pairing with roasted beef tenderloin! Wish I had another...

Had to try it again ... Didn't disappoint. Big bold red, super soft beginning with a velvet fruit finish. Very nice! Don't remember this tasting so nice.
