Had it with a skirt steak with lots of marinade and it was perfect, the dry fruit mid tone wine was ideal

2012, Villa del Cigliano, Brusco! IGT Toscano, 100% Sangivese. A $17 IGT Sangiovese that tastes like a more expensive Brunello. Mainly black fruit with lots of secondary flavors: violet, pepper, rosemary, anise, leather and mushroom. Light ruby color with med plus acid, tannins and alcohol. Great value.
