A nice drinker, nothing fantastic but I don't expect much from a Dolcetto. Balanced acidity w/ silky tannins. Cherry bomb nose with exceptional smoothness. A wine you can't feel bad about opening just to drink with your dad.

Sangria without the bubbles. Heavy cherry nose with lilac spritzer. Smooth and comfy just to sip. No instructions needed. Makes a cigar even better.

Subtle Red. Enjoyable. Not too aggressive with tannins. I used a Vinturi for this tasting and found a hidden sweetness to the finish

Mild spicy aftertaste - but it's really mild and in harmony with fruitiness, acidity and soft tannins. It's not sweat - believe me I usually prefer dry wines and like this bottle of Dolcetto d'Acqui very much.
