Praised by Jancis Robinson as one of the benchmark verdejo wines from the Rueda region, this pré-Phylloxera wine from sandy soils is filled with tropical fruit, sharp minerality and decent length. Not my preferred grape variety but I can taste the quality here compared to the formulated mass produced supermarket wines from this region that I've come across until now. 93 points for the technical quality of the wine, 91 points from pleasure perspective
