Celebrating a new president tonight with a wine that shares a name with an old one. Though I’m drinking it a bit young, it is still as complex as I could want. Medium and well balanced acidity, tannins and alcohol. Delicious cherry and currant, but also some earthiness and leather. I can’t wait to get another 2018 to try in a couple years. Very impressed. Paired with a poultry stew and tiramisu.
