The 2021 Red Westberg bursts from the glass with crushed raspberries and plums complemented by violet candies, baking spice and hints of clove. Seamlessly silky in character, the Westberg compensates with crisp red and blue fruits, all contrasted by hints of blood orange. It cleans up beautifully, tactile and long with a tinge of tart citrus and a savory herbal flourish over a coating of edgy tannins. So warm and inviting. It’s big and high alcohol but somehow not excessive at all. Wonderful texture. Warm spicy aromas, dark plum, cherry and cola. Very nice !

76% Zinfandel, 24% Tempranillo Vineyard 4hearts Vineyard Fermentation Zinfandel was co-fermented with the Tempranillo Aging 22 months in 60% new French Oak Notes This blend is ruby in color with a fresh nose consisting of basil, toasted oak, and spice. Silky on the pallet with fresh intricate red fruit and white pepper with a meaty and savory back pallet finish.
