Of the many Zinfandel bottlings from Turley, those from Sonoma (over Napa and Paso) are my favorite.
With some age, this shows a lovely mix of blue and red fruits, accented by dried herbs and a touch of smoke. On the palate, it’s reserved and balanced - much less rich than I expected. The acidity is quite high-toned, high alcohol is well concealed, and the finish is delicious and long.

It wasn't bad, but we didn't love this one. It had a bit of a sour note that we didn't care for.

Much better than the CAB from a few months ago. Turley - Fredericks Vineyards - 2016 Zinfandel. A spicy delightful zin! Still not the best Zin I have ever had. It has a slightly sour finish but good spice and oak in the front. I want to try the petite Syrah!
