Tura Winery
Limited Edition Marselan Dolcetto
Israel

#KosherWineSunday
Purple in color with a wide purplish rim.
Strong nose with blueberries, black plums, cooked cherries, mediterranean spices, light oak, tobacco leaf, light earth and herbs.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with black currants, plums, cooked cherries, oak, licorice, earth, spices, tobacco leaf, herbs and black pepper.
Medium length on the finish with soft tannins and tangy pomegranates.
This 6 year old Dolcetto blend from Israel is drinking at its peak now. Nicely balanced and elegant, with nice complexity. Fruit forward and entertaining, with an Italian feel.
I had this vintage 4 years ago, and decided to give it a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Drinking so much better now.
Good right out of the bottle, tangy and interesting. Good by itself as a sipping wine.
A unique blend of Dolcetto and Marselan. Aged for 6 months in oak barrels. Kosher and not Mevushal.
12.9% alcohol by volume.
91 points.
$40.
