Possibly the best wine and food pairing ever! Went awesome with duck confit and venison filet! Not much on the nose, but great fruit, a touch of earthiness, and a long, savory finish. Would have liked more power, but the lack of it made dinner perfect!

Mar 29th, 2017This is the Trinchero Chicken Ranch I remember! The '07 much better than the '08. Lovely nose, and extremely earthy tones with mild fruit on the palate. Very smooth and easy to drink as it is more refined and not overpowering. Quite enjoyable.

Oct 30th, 2016Coming in high and tight! High in OH, but it's trying to unwind to be good. Might need some air, but the age is starting to show through. Huge dark cherry flavor and nice finish. Goes nicely with gnoochi and Marco Estrada! Go Jays!!!!

Oct 14th, 2016Completely gone! Surprised it didn't have some "umph" for an '07 Napa Cab. Maybe it's a weaker bottle, but didn't seem like it. Disappointing!

Not worth much of a right up. Flavors are mild and watered down. A little bit of sweet oak and elevated tannins. Bottle is over priced for muted flavors.

May 15th, 2016Decent nose but after that something wasn't quite right. I don't think it was a bad bottle and the age wasn't extreme, but wasn't quite how I remembered it. Very light and lacked fruit, so maybe my palate has changed. Have many more bottles so we'll see if this is an outlier.
