Unoaked Chardonnay grown in NY, but vinified and made by a small artisan producer in MA, who also makes his own wine in Portugal. Citrus fruit and clean palate with a softer floral and pear finish. I like supporting this talented, local vintner who understand the spirit and tradition of regionality, while pushing the boundaries of what is expected. Not inexpensive, but delivers in genuine quality.
