Made by ASV Wines, my former employer half my lifetime ago. Used half the bottle to make coq au vin, drank the rest. Purple red, medium extraction, excellent clarity. Butter, cherry, cassis, pepper and canned green veggie notes in nose. Also a cool note - eucalyptus? Cassis, raspberry and cherry flavors, as advertised on label. Jammy? Peppery? Yes. Some seed tannin in finish, mild skin astringency. Great value for a basic table wine, nothing fancy but multilayered if not terribly complex.

Can't get over the incredibly thin mouthfeel. I like me some fruity quaffable wine, but the thin-ness combined with a less-than stellar aftertaste have left me contemplating pouring this out. Should stick to the (fantastically priced) Italian red when buying sub-$10 wines at TJ's

There's amazing zin. Balanced with a pop of freshness that carries into soft blueberries with a touch of sour. All giving great structure to the wine. This wine has those elements but they're all a bit muted. You can sense them well enough and the price makes this wine a must buy in my opinion.

Pretty good for a relatively cheap wine. Lots of different tastes in every sip. Not too sweet or dry.

Drinks like a much more expensive wine. I will definitely purchase again.

Just what I wanted tonite. A lush, jammy, thick wine I can enjoy with my steak. Can never go wrong with a Trader Joe wine!

Good cheep dinner wine! Takes a minute to air out but it was one of the better wines under $10. I would buy again

For a $4.99 Zin and TJ's, this is well worth it.
