Big jammy red fruit bouquet (ripe cherry, pomegranate, raspberry) with a good balance of spice and hints of tobacco and earthiness; jamminess continues to the palate with the spice coming out a little more; well-integrated tannins, but a little grippy....should soften nicely with age; good structure, with enough acidity to carry the finish without being overpowering. Drinks great right now but definitely benefits from some time to breathe.
