One sip brings back the memories of saddling up at the Tobin James bar in the tasting room. Not one of their best wines and tastes a bit like a merlot. Prob would not buy again, but don’t mind the taste at the winery.

Mar 26th, 2018Not Sangiovese, but a really full and complex Merlot. Take that, Sideways.

Sep 3rd, 2017Delicious! Nice nose with many aromas of fruits -- boysenberries and cherries predominantly, but also a whiff of tart apricot and fresh blueberries -- the berries all last through the entire palate; the apricot disappears entirely. Full body, SMOOTH, medium finish at most but no disappointment there as the memory of all the layers lingers in the mind if not actually in the throat.
Excellent with game, hard, bold cheeses, wild mushrooms, -- TRUFFLES!!!

Very good Sangiovese. Full of flavors and harmony. Perfect to be paired with a marinara style of dinner.
