Pours currant in color. ON THE NOSE: leather, raspberry jam and cracked black pepper and clove. ON THE PALATE: ripe dark fruit with a hint of raisin. There is an acidity in the finish that is not quite balanced with the fruit. Medium body and light(+) finish. The fruit leaves early and the acidity lingers.

Dark red in color. A bit of spice on the nose, but mostly fruity. Peppery as expected for a Zin on the palette. A lingering finish is present, but not too long. A good solid Zin to represent the Paso Robles Wine Region.

Jammy and big on the nose, deep color, blackberry and jam with a hint of spice on the finish - very round and tasty! Great with almost any food from pizza to pasta to cheese!

Not a big Zinfandel fan and this one is a bit "heavy" but nice spicy finish and goes well with our spicy island shrimp dinner.
