Bright red in color.
Not too fruity on the nose with earthy notes and blueberries, blackberries and cherries .
Light to medium bodied and elegant.
Dry on the attack and fruity on the back of the palate with cherries, blueberries, black pepper, oak and wood.
Unbalanced with too much acid for the tannins, yet enough fruits.
Medium finish with nice silky tannins.
15.2% alcohol by volume.

Mar 4th, 2015I don’t normally like Zinfandel, but I liked this. Maybe because it wasn’t such an oaky fruit bomb. A little hot, but other than that, a fairly balanced and pleasant wine.

Feb 26th, 2019Loved it - better on the 2nd day after proper decanting - red fruit with long, smooth finish.

The taste combines blackberry jams, 5 spice, hibiscus, and butterscotch. Strong alcohol, but not enough to detract from the bottle. Very long persistent finish."
