Impressive effort at a non-French Bordeaux. In fact, all of their shot fire line is in recipe for the price. The Shiraz is still my fave, but this is serious wine. Elegant currant juice that was made for a rich food pairing.

Deep garnet. Spicy fruit aromas. Balanced mouth filling flavour. This 2011 started fruity and as the evening went on pepper tones moved to the forefront. Swings above its price tag.
