At Manfreds in Copenhagen known for its organic food and its natural Wines. This is a Carignan from Languedoc. Deep Ruby in colour. Profound barnyard aromas - might be some Brett which sometimes befalls natural wines. Smells like a live cattle truck you might pass on a back road. Medium to Full bodied palate with powdery M+ tannins. I don’t mind this style but probably not for everyone. The Somm told me this was 100% Carignan - no Alicante.
