Dry and smooth. Balanced. This wine took me by surprise. La Grange included it in a wine tasting as a teaser for those of us who are not subscribed to their wine club ($200/quarter) While it makes sense that this is going to be their good wine, I was wowed by just how good this wine was. I had been fairly saturated from wine tasting that day, but this wine still spoke volumes to me.
