Deep purple in color with a purple rim. Nice color, actually.
Beautiful Napa nose with blueberry stew, blackberries, black currants, cedar, vanilla bean, spices, licorice, earth and black pepper.
Medium-bodied and soft, with medium plus acidity and gorgeous legs.
Dry and very fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, sweet plums, wood, vanilla, spice box, licorice, cloves, tobacco, chocolates, mocha, caramel, bitter vegetables and peppercorn.
Medium plus on the finish with structured tannins and spices.
This Napa Cabernet Sauvignon surprised me. Needed 30 minutes to open up, but after that, it was very tasty with nice complexity and balance. Delicate and inviting. Wonderful nose, easy drinking and a good sipping wine. Great value with a nice, gentle mouthfeel.
Drinking very nicely now, and will be good in the next year or two.
