Shockingly poor. I have traveled to South Africa’s wine country twice and love their reds—particularly the pinotages. But this one advertises that it’s a Coffee Pinotage and I detect no coffee at all—only a subpar Pinotage. For a coffee flavor, try Dienersfontein’s reds—-they were grown on an ex-Coffee plantation and you can taste the Coffee essence.
