Very unusual and unique. Little sweetness and high tannins yet not too austere. It grew on me. Lots of complexity to explore.

Smells French. Tastes French. Is actually ENGLISH! A really good English red wine. Tastes like a young French red despite being five years old. Clean with some red fruit. Very good.

Perfectly respectable red from Dornfelder and Rondo grapes. Opened well in advance and served at kitchen temperature with slow roast pork.
