So good!! Deep fruit. A richness characteristic of a ripasso styled wine. Tobacco, a little must. Yum!! Paired with a creamy Gorgonzola sauced pasta.

Very well structured on the palate. Alcohol a bit too present on the nose. Almost has the nose of bourbon! Dark fruit, sweet tobacco, touch of cocoa, baking spices on the finish. Soft integrated tannins. Feels cozy. Went great with pasta and spicy pork sausage with a red vodka sauce.

Heavy and tannic for the style, currant and tobacco. 24 hrs didn't open it up. @ridgewoodbeer
