Great Merlot. Full bodied, lots of flowers in the nose that made me think of a good Cote de Rotie. It's a great bargain for its price.

For me this was a disappointing Merlot. Very bitter tannins took over the palate. I am not getting any fruity or floral notes. I don’t mind tannins at all but there was no smoothness. Jut a long bitter finish. The cork seems fine but I may have a bad bottle I can’t finish my glass.

I love it when domestic Merlots stretch beyond their simple grapes and take on complexities of their own characteristics. Lovely medium-full body contains the boisterous fruit, and wisps of flint, earth, and anise.
