Jun 23rd, 2020Black fruit, muddled berries and charcoal fill the nose. Soft sweet tannins that are perfect. Palate is filled with this elixir type texture that shows layers of smoke, cherry and dusted chocolate truffle. Loamy earth finish that gives you something to sink your teeth into.

Nov 3rd, 20212012 Vintage. 14.8% Alcohol. This has really smoothed out over time. Hitting it’s stride. We purchased this bottle at the winery so not an auction risk and it showed way better. Big Syrah with plush fruit and iron oxide and tobacco.

Sep 6th, 20202012 Vintage. 14.8% Alcohol. Bought on auction so provenance may be questionable, but this had higher acidity than usual. Or the fruit is starting to fade leaving a wine with more evident acid. Still enjoyable.
