This is a translucent violet with very distinct Zin nose. Thin on the tongue but big alcohol, dark fruit jammy-ness with some sweetness that hints of cherries. The expected Zin pepperiness is there as well. Not much astringency, so a light finish. This may be easier drinking that it should be at 15%. I’m on the line regarding the value for the price.

As an anti federalist at heart, I’d rather see the state names involved with this wine but I enjoyed the candor and overbearing sense of humor.
