This is a blend of 50% Primitivo (Zinfandel) and Negramaro grapes from Puglia, Southern Italy.
Deep ruby colour.
On the nose intense blackberry and fig notes, with some nice chocolate and vanilla. Interesting minerality and saltiness, expression of the marine influence on the area.
On the palate it is a dry wine with high acidity and high but smooth tannins. Full body and long finish.
Very good wine.

A big style, built for rustic fare! Raspberry reduction, cinnamon, vanilla, anise, cedar and blackberries. Medium heavy mouthfeel exhibiting firm tannins and relatively dry.
