Prior notes apply. We were lucky to get this wine by the case for $13. BDB says the city will reopen on Monday and the curfew will be over, I wonder if that plan will have any effect on police brutality, because I don’t think the protests will stop, nor should they.

Jun 6th, 2020The insolia punches way above its weight. Great balance, good acids, texture, lemon oil flavor and some almond richness. Electricity and iodine in here too, maybe verging on aniseed. Resembles a Chablis in some aspects. The texture is where it’s at, there’s weight here. Grippy with some lingering spice at the end, not in the finish but after. Really clean, damn good. Only way this gets higher is with more on the nose. Some confectionary notes there, a slight softening with age. This is an excellent wine for a party: not demanding, but there’s so much there if you look.
