The 1st or one of the 1st DOCs. The only DOC for white. very pretty aromatics, under ripe white stone fruit, stony, mineral, white floral. medium bodied, slightly viscous, medium acid, long long finish. delicious. this is right up my alley

Lovely and refreshing. Lime zest and orchard fruits. Simple and yummy with summer veg.

Session 3 of Wine Essentials One at the Institute of Culinary Education Center for Wine Studies.

A Vernaccia from Tuscany, not too far from the Chianti region. Young but complex, with a light-medium viscosity. On the nose are mint, herbs (especially sage), white peaches and fresh almond. Even though this is a young wine, the complex aromas make the nose appear old. There is a touch of bitterness in its taste, and it has coconut and tropical fruit flavors. It is fairly earthy with a slightly long finish.
