Color: beautiful carmine red with a violet edge.
Nose: complex aromas of ripe fruits, undergrowth and fresh figs.
Palate: a very nice acidity carries the wine from start to finish, the tannin structure is full of finesse and the beautiful material is characterized by red fruit aromas. The finale ends on a slightly positive bitter note.

Only other Grignolino I’ve had was just not good, so this was a nice surprise. Light, but structured. Looks like cranberry juice in the glass. Barnyard, leather, fresh herb, and bright red fruit aromas and flavors. Snappy acid, mild tannins. Perfect with our dinner if venison and salmon.
