Wow, this is super under rated. They probably didn't give it enough time to breathe. I would give it an hour or more in the decanter. Appearance: really dark ruby, opaque in the center, fades to fuschia. Nose: cocoa and dark cherry with a touch of anise. Palate: medium acid and high tannin ...prune, coffee, black tea and maybe a little black olive added on palate
