Very dark purple, almost black on the eye with some rim variation moving toward plum. Medium+ viscosity. Sweet red fruits, cherries, oak, little bit of spicyness of the nose. Dark cherries and strawberries, plums on palette. Medium+ tannins and medium dryness, long finish. Overall well-balanced blend, but might benefit from more age- neither fruit or inorganic minerality notes were particularly memorable, but mouth feel and balance was very good. I think would be much enhanced by pairing with fatty/salty food like a steak.

Supple, rich mouthfeel. Lots of fruit but good structure. More of this yummy resting in cellar.

A lesson in managing pyrazines? Great oak integration, what's left is a bit of black fruit, eucalyptus, green pepper, and good structure.
