Top Notes For
"Odedi"

Dark purple in color with a wide purplish rim.

Nose of blue fruits with light wood, cherry candy, tobacco, violets, barnyard and chocolates.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and fat legs.

Dry on the palate with black currants, plums, blueberries, oak, spices, vegetables, peppercorn, tobacco, dark chocolates, iron/blood, black tea and bitter herbs.

Soft finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a tasty Syrah from Yakima Valley in Washington State. Soft and elegant with a nice mouthfeel. Feels like a light Northern Rhone red.

Still young, but already enjoyable, even by itself. Buttery and spicy. The nose is a little stinky as expected.

Not in your face kind Syrah. Good right out of the bottle, and better after 3 hours in the decanter.

This Single Vineyard is a good quality wine that will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.

Nice to see a lower ABV from Washington State.

100% Syrah grapes were fermented with native yeast. A small production of only 14 barrels made.

13.6% alcohol by volume.

91 points.
