Stone fruit aromatics with an oxidative note - hint of Apricot. A vibrant refreshing White on the palate with notes of pear and mineral finishing with a bitter grapefruit finish and mild acid. Delicious and different from the Canary Islands made from 90% Listan Blanco (Palomino) often used to make Sherry.

👁 Dorado pálido, limpio 👃🏻 buena potencia, notas azufradas, reducción, lácticos y sobre todo mineral 👄 buena entrada, graso, con una buena acidez y persistente.

My first wine from the Canary Islands. Made from the Listan Blanco grape otherwise known as Palomino in Spain. Quite developed looking (mid gold) for a 2014 wine. Similar notes to a Chardonnay in some respects but on the palate quite textural with a fuller mouth feel as one gets with Mediterranean whites. Despite all this noticeable acid on the sides of the tongue. Probably a better summer wine.

Fino style of Palomino from the Canary Islands, Tenerife. And terrific. Saline, nutty, nose of just roasted buttered popcorn, good acid towing it along.

What a fabulous wine day. This beauty comes from 100 year old vines. Salty, peanuty nose. A touch of salinity on the palate.
