Petite Sirah is not a smaller version of Syrah. It is an offspring of Syrah and the nearly extinct French Alpine variety called Peloursin. The 2012 is definitely drinking well. Dark red, luscious with a hint of tannins . Maybe this wine can be pushed out 2 more years.

May 6th, 2021I thought this would blow me away but I have decided even drinking a top syrah, it more a a blending grape for me and not one of my fav grapes, needs to open for at least 3 years to get all the complexity. Low rating just for my taste but I understand why others love it.
