One of my favs from 2013. Think smoke meets cotton candy with a drizzle of savory menthol and herbs. Solid juice.

Dry bold with well balanced tannins and acidity.

Feb 23rd, 2023Petite Sirah is not a smaller version of Syrah. It is an offspring of Syrah and the nearly extinct French Alpine variety called Peloursin. The 2012 is definitely drinking well. Dark red, luscious with a hint of tannins . Maybe this wine can be pushed out 2 more years.
