American Sangiovese? Shouldn’t be this smooth should it? Well it is. Very drinkable. Very enjoyable. I was also very pleasantly surprised. Enough verys? Well it’s deserved. The character is bit narrower vs Italian Brunello but it’s a saying something that it competes. Young and bursting with vim and decent length. You can taste the difference in terroir but I am looking forward to the next bottle.
