Time to drink my Canadian white table wine. Not many make their way south of the border, but this is the one most typically seen in stores here (something is wrong with that fact. Shouldn’t we see a greater variety of wines in the market?) Not much aroma initially; later, floral, spice and a light touch of skunkiness emerge. Nice light lemon Pez flavor in mouth, rounded mouthfeel, off-dry; spice, lychee, green apple (eventually) and mild skin astringency in finish. Blend of 35% Pinot Blanc, 33% Gewurtztraminer, 32% Chasselas. A fine aperitif wine, not sure how well it would stand up to food without more acid in it.
