Punchdown Syrah

Fresh and fruity. Very agreeable; not too big.

Spot on, luscious and bold, it's a great value!

Weird. Rich and extracted like it was pumped over.... A lot. Not my style, but not bad juice.

White pepper. Lively and intense with good red fruit. Great acidity.

The first Syrah that made it all happen. Not this vintage obviously.

2018. Very balanced mild spice. Delicious tannins.

Good - bold but earthy. Chocolate aftertaste.

Not jammy, not lithe, kinda in between. Dark fruits, grilled meat, raisin in the nose. Soft mouth feel, pepper on the finish. Really not bad at 14 bucks, better with food.

My new favorite Syrah.

Good pizza night wine.
