Tasty medium bodied ripasso. Definite raisin, hints of licorice, spices (nutmeg, allspice, clove), and leather. Feel like we caught this one at a good time — 2016 drinking great in 2020. Really nice balance of the fruit, which seems to be just starting to fade, and the terroir/spice/leather, which are speaking a bit louder.
