I keep coming back to Hungary for some of my most solid wines of 2017. The overall texture, balance of ripeness and acid in this style seem to always hit right in my wheel house. This bottle's taken my favorite elements of a good Chenin Blanc and added touches of toasted sesame, white pepper, green fennel fronds to the palette. Continues to be my go-to pairing for roast chicken and after work aperitif.
