Old Vines Amador County Zinfandel

The most available, affordable, and overall great OVZ of this region. I drink it often and have found it in distant places when I'm wanting a Amador Zin. I like that. Kudos to the person at Sobon that deals with vendors! A wonderful small winery and a great wine every year!

I had 2014 - notes of licorice, black cherry, and tobacco. LOVE it!

I liked it but Lisa found it too floral and sweet.

Great hearty wine for a good price point. Great with red meat.
