Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Fruity nose with blueberries, cherry pie, coffee, milk chocolates, red currants, sweet strawberries, light vanilla, spices, licorice, wood, cinnamon, earth, light vegetables and black pepper.
Medium bodied with medium acidity and nice legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with cherries, plums, blueberries, oak, strawberries, vanilla extract, bitter vegetables, dark chocolates, coffee, spices, tobacco leaf and peppercorn.
Medium on the finish with very soft tannins, alcohol and raspberries.
This simple Chilean Cabernet is drinking nicely now with a soft mouthfeel and nice balance.
A good everyday wine. Good for parties or as a sipping wine by the porch. Simple but not offensive at all, which is nice at this price point. Peaking now so drink it while it's still fresh.
I paired it with cheeses and nuts.
