Stunning. Blackberry, smoke, sage, graphite. Lots going on. One classy wine.

This is a 💯 point Parker wine. It’s very close and will get there in time. Wait on this if own. It’s a beautiful wine. Great soft, silky yet has a slight grainy tannin structure. This has all the structure, tension, length and balance for greatness. It melts in your mouth. So smooth, so elegant and flat out delicious. Blackberries, dark cherries, black plum, plum, candied tarriness, anise, used leather, creamed underbrush and dark florals. The round acidity is perfect. The long amazing, well balanced, polished finish is stupidly gorgeous, sexy, delicious and persists endlessly.

Oh my, where to start and where to finish? I will just list a small sample of adjectives that could be used to describe this Sloan experience. Intoxicating (as in the nose), structure, balance, nuance, harmony, explosive, soft (as in tannins), multi-layered, high character, inviting, never-ending, friendly, symphonic, special ..... On a final note, the longest lasting finish of any wine I have drank in the near past (maybe ever).
