+1 hour decant(lots of chunky/fine sediment). A splendid dark garnet with bricking. On the nose: subtle notes of dark fruit, sandalwood, potting soil, milk chocolate, floral. Taste: velvety, layered, concentrated mouthcoating wine with blackberry/blueberry, loamy soil, graphite, smoke, pepper, and a minerally dark chocolate dry long finish. YUM! better than 5 years ago...it's Come Together as the Beatles would say.

May 25th, 20261 hour decant(lots of chunky sediment). A daunting inky ruby red color. On the nose: Subdued, but beautiful notes of black cherry, toasted caramel, spice, cedar, and pine. Taste: smooth, rich, concentrated! medium plus body wine with black cherry, smoke, pencil lead, minerals, chocolate espresso, pepper, and a dry bitter metallic long finish.....Conflicted (hate to be conflicted starting the weekend) on the finish...probably should have decanted longer...got a few more bottles to see if it changes.
