Has a faint and light fragrance of stone fruit and earthiness.
Drinks fairly well to start, and is a bit tangy with mineral notes on the front of the palate, with flavors of spice, pepper and plum.
Definitely needs time to breathe and open up…once it does, it’s softens and drinks much smoother.

Not usually a fan of pino noir, but this was quite nice. Heavier than most. Good for drinking alone or with food. Would buy again. Let air for at least 20-25 minutes.

Flavors of ripe cherry, plum and raspberry leaf to spice and mineral notes finishing with toasty oak (back label)

Second favorite Simi find (after same appellation chardonnay)

Ripe cherry, plum and raspberry lead to spice and mineral notes finishing with toasty oak (back label)

Preferred this to the Russian River pinot noir at Simi, surprising.

A really nice Pinot! Almost jammy at first, but heavy chalk and mineral with sour cherry and a little pepper then dominates.
