Medium tart acid of medium body brings black fruits, bitter chocolate, earth and black pepper to the palate. Good structure but balance shifts toward medium edgy, slightly bitter tannins that lead to a long dry earth/oak finish. Decant 1 hour for rich dish/ red meat dishes. Good wine but somewhat dear for $32.99 USD for this quality.
