Very taut - even after an hour of decanting. There is plenty of raw potential here but at this point in its evolution it is quite unforthcoming. Probably needs at least another five years or so to become more harmonious and enjoyable.

Really interesting wine. Highish acid, perfumed red and dark fruits. Medium bodied. Salty, earthy, gamey. Fruit has that South African sunny/animal/wildness I love. Ripe and quite powerful, but not flabby in the least. Well done. Killer with lamb shanks.
