Dark black red. Rich dark fruit concentrated to an almost peppery intensity - but without the spicy edge. Very rich, velvety tannins.
Sharp acid contrasts on the nose and mouth, rhubarb and gooseberry. But ruined by harshness, a bit rough and unbalanced.
