Apr 1st, 2018A nice non-vintage red that shows deep sweet red cherries, licorice, black pepper, licorice, and lots of balance. The nose is a bit muted, but adds an earthiness to the mix. This easy wine is from high-altitude grapes on Mt Palomar in San Diego county and I am thrilled to have discovered it...to go with a cheesy manicotti dinner! Medium to long finish.
